On May 14, 2012, the Levantine Cultural Center presented Israeli American author and peacemaker Miko Peled, discussing his new book "The General's Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine." Palestinian/Lebanese American author and UCLA professor Saree Makdisi moderated a conversation and Q & A with Peled and the audience. The public forum took place at the Writers Guild Theatre in Beverly Hills.
